Discover my world full of art and productivity!

Hi, I’m Magda and I’m an art lover. I’m excited to greet you in my little piece of the Internet πŸ™‚

I must admit that I’m a bit stressed out. This blogging thing is a big challenge for me mostly because English isn’t my mother tongue. However I decided to force myself out of my comfort zone. So here I am!

What do I want to blog about?

Topic 1: Productivity planning & organizing tips

I have been running my own company with my partner for almost 5 years. We’ve developed a polish planner brand Miss Planner. I was creating printable, personalized planner templates. We printed them, put them into colorful fake leather organizer covers and then sold to the customers. I’ve been also blogging about time management hacks, productivity and bujo ideas, working long hours day by day and wasn’t taking good enough care of my body, mind and spirit.

After a couple of years I got to the point in my business where I just wasn’t willing to do all of this stuff anymore. I was feeling totally overwhelmed and stressed out. I was feeling exhausted most of the time. My days have been fulfilled with feelings such as: hopelessness, overload, or inappreciation.

I hit total burnout.

And then I started to realize how much I was self-sacrificing in the name of making money and developing my little business. It felt like it’s time to make a choice. Time for a huge life transformation. But I had no idea how this could happen.

I was really scared of kicking myself out of my comfort zone. My first step after my career break was a decision to focus on what I like. And to follow my inner voice.

Topic 2: Digital art

I’ve been working as a planner and graphic designer since I remember, but constantly catching myself thinking about digital art.

I’ve been admiring digital artists at work for hours. I was amazed by what they could do. Back then I discovered that my biggest secret dream was to work as a digital illustrator.

So, last October I quit my job, spent almost all of my savings on the iPad Pro 11″ and decided to follow my heart and dreams. That was a pretty crazy step, but deep down I’ve always wanted to sacrifice my life to art. I’m an art lover and I’ve felt it since I was a kid.

For now I’ve been studying digital art mostly from youtube tutorials. I would love to share with you everything that I’ve learned so far during my art journey.

Topic 3: Pencil art

I’m also passionate about pencil art. I’ve been practicing drawing exercises regularly for the past 12 months.

I will show you a progress and comparison of my old and new artworks. I will also give you some useful tips how to draw better and show you my past year journey so you could learn from my mistakes.

Topic 4: Artist’s insider (lifestyle)

It is not easy to be constantly creative, productive and happy. Most of us artists are introverted and sensitive about being criticized. We are afraid of creating and showing our personal artworks to the world.

It’s something most of us has to go through and I hope that you may find my experience helpful. I would love to share my self care routines. I will try to activate blue-sky thinking in you, inspire you to focus on what is the most important for you in your life. I also really want to show you some of my proven methods of finding motivation to work and getting your power back.

Perhaps you would like to stay here a little bit longer. I hope that I will see you again soon πŸ™‚

Love, M.
